This Privacy Policy explains how NS Adamson Development and Consulting LLC (“NS Adamson,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), the provider of the BuildLedger software service (the “Service”), collects, uses, discloses, and protects information in connection with the Service. BuildLedger is a project-management CRM that helps contractors and trades manage clients, quotes, jobs, change orders, expenses, invoicing, and payments, and that can synchronize accounting records with a customer’s QuickBooks Online company.
By using the Service, you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
When you or your clients make a payment through the Service, payment card and bank-account details are collected and processed directly by our third-party payment processor through its secure, hosted tokenizer. We do not receive or store full payment card numbers or full bank-account numbers. We retain only transaction metadata such as amount, processing fee, payment method type, transaction status, and the processor’s transaction identifiers.
If you connect a QuickBooks Online company, we access and store accounting data through Intuit’s authorized API as described in Section 3, together with the OAuth access/refresh tokens and QuickBooks record identifiers needed to perform the synchronization you request.
We collect limited technical and log information such as IP address, browser/device type, timestamps, and actions taken within the Service, used for security, auditing, troubleshooting, and improving the Service.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
We access your QuickBooks Online data only after you explicitly authorize the connection through Intuit’s OAuth 2.0 flow, and only to provide the accounting-sync features you request.
Payments (credit/debit card and ACH bank transfer) are handled by our third-party payment processor. Card and bank details are entered into the processor’s secure hosted fields and are tokenized by the processor; BuildLedger never receives the full card or bank-account number. Your use of payment features is also subject to the payment processor’s terms and privacy practices. Card surcharges, where applied, are disclosed at the time of payment in accordance with applicable law and card-network rules.
We share information only as needed to operate the Service:

We do not sell or rent personal information to third parties.
We retain information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Business and financial records may be retained for the periods required by applicable tax and accounting laws. When data is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including encryption of data in transit (HTTPS/TLS), authenticated and role-based access controls, credential hashing, audit logging, and least-privilege handling of third-party credentials and tokens. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, update, or delete personal information we hold about you, or to object to or restrict certain processing. Texas and other U.S. state residents may have additional rights under applicable state privacy laws. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details in Section 13. If you manage information about your own customers within the Service, you are the controller of that information and are responsible for handling your customers’ requests; we will assist as your processor where required.
The Service is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
The Service is operated from the United States. If you access it from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be processed in the United States, where data-protection laws may differ from those of your jurisdiction.
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
